1st International Singing MASTERCLASS with
M° Renato Bruson
Verona, 16 – 29 July, 2017
Masterclass program and regulations:
The teacher will be the famous Italian baritone M° Renato Bruson.
Course program: technical, vocal and interpretative study and preparation of some opera arias, preferably Italian, chosen by the participants and with a piano accompanist.
The masterclass will be held at Circolo Unificato di Castelvecchio, Corso Castelvecchio 4 – 37121 VERONA.
There are two categories of participants:
Active participants: (max 15 active participants) Pre-selection materials required (view Art.1).
Auditor participants: Participation materials required (view Art. 3). No pre-selection and no restricted number.
Art. 1 – Preliminary Selection (only for active participants):
For the preliminary selection, the candidates must send an email to associazioneartisticakairos@gmail.com including and attaching the following documents within and not later than June 15, 2017:
1. 2 recent audio or video files (only links!)
2. CV and artistic photo
3. A valid Passport/ID copy
4. Signed candidates’ consent for personal data processing – D.lgs 196/2003 (modulo_privacy_en_Kairòs)
5. Completed and signed application form (APPLICATION FORM Masterclass BRUSON 2017)
The selection results will be notified by email within and not later than June 17, 2017.
Art. 2 – Participation fee (active participants):
COST: €2.000,00
The selected active participant must send an email to associazioneartisticakairos@gmail.com within and not later than June 30, 2017 with proof of payment of the participation fee made out to the following bank account:

It will be possible to attend just one week, cost: € 1.000,00 , in the first period July 16 – 21 , or in the second one July 22 – 27.
The Associazione Kairòs will not cover any bank fees resulting from the international transfer of funds.
This participation fee includes the application fee.
Citizens of Non-EU countries must present their visa and/or residency permit documents.
Food & Lodging must be paid by the participant. If required, the organization could suggest several partner accommodations.
Art.3 – Participation fee (auditor participants):
COST: € 1.000,00
The auditor participants must send an email to associazioneartisticakairos@gmail.com including and attaching the following documents within and not later than June 30, 2017:

It will be possible to attend just one week, cost: € 500,00 , in the first period July 16 – 21 , or in the second one July 22 – 27.
The Associazione Kairòs will not cover any bank fees resulting from international transfer of funds.
This participation fee includes the application fee.

Food & Lodging must be paid by the participant. If required, the organization could suggest several partner accommodations.
Art. 4 – Other :
If required, after the successful acceptance of the masterclass and having received the required participation fee from you, we will send you a Certificate of Registration to use for your visa or residency permit release. Please contact your embassy about other documents you might need for a successful application. Please also check with your embassy if you need an original letter invitation or if a copy is sufficient.
Active participants must bring 2 copies of the musical scores of the arias that they intend to sing in the original tonality and language.
The closing concert will be held on the evening of July 29, as a Gala Lirico where personalities of the theatre circuits could be invited. All of the participants are requested to wear appropriate concert attire. During the evening, the certificates of attendance (both for active participants and auditors) will be issued.
Art.5 – Abandonment:
The entire participation fee will be refunded if the participant withdraws before June 20, 2017, sending a communication by email. After this date, no amount will be refunded.
Art.6 – Masterclass schedule:
The whole course will be from Sunday, July 16, 2017 to Saturday, July 29, 2017, with the closing concert Gala Lirico.
At M° Bruson’s discretion, it could be a day off.
Every update will be immediately communicated by email to each participant and will be uploaded to the section “Audizioni e Bandi” of our website at www.accademiakairos.it .
Art.7 – Cancellation and responsibility policy
Because of a force majeure event, the organization could cancel the masterclass and totally refund the already paid participation fees. The organization could also change the course location. The new location will be inside the center of Verona and it will be immediately communicated by email to each participant.
The organization shall not be liable for damages to people or things throughout the entire period of the masterclass (July 16-29, 2017).
Art.8 – Privacy policy
We always respect your privacy. Any information supplied to us will be used only for the purpose of the course. We do not share your personal information with any third parties. The candidates’ consent for personal data processing will be regulated in accordance with Italian law (Art. 10, Law No. 675/96 and Legislative Decree No. 196/2003).
Art.9 – Disclaimer on audio, video and photos
The association will use photos, videos, audio recordings or others during the masterclass for the promotional purposes of its programs and activities on flyers, posters, books, CDs, websites, social networks, radio, TV, etc. and they shall be granted on a royalty-free basis.
The participant agrees with this regulation in whole (1 Masterclass M Bruson VERONA_eng) by signing up for the masterclass.
