International Singing MASTERCLASS with
M° Bruno de Simone
Verona, 27 – 30 June, 2019
Masterclass program and regulations:
The teacher will be the famous Italian baritone M° Bruno de Simone.
Course program: technical, vocal and interpretative study and preparation of some opera arias, preferably from Italian Rossini and Belcanto repertoire, chosen by the participants, and with a piano accompanist.
The masterclass will be held at Circolo Unificato di Castelvecchio, Corso Castelvecchio 4 – 37121 VERONA.
There are two categories of participants:
Active participants: (max 10 active participants) Pre-selection materials required (view Art.1).
Auditor participants: Participation materials required (view Art. 3). No pre-selection and no restricted
number.
Art. 1 – Preliminary Selection (only for active participants):
For the preliminary selection, the candidates must send an email to associazioneartisticakairos@gmail.com including and attaching the following documents within and not later than June 19, 2019:
1. CV and artistic photo in hd
2. A valid Passport/ID copy
3. Signed candidates’ consent for personal data processing – EU Regulation no. 679/2016 (General Information personal data processing _Kairòs)
4. Completed and signed application form (Application Form_Masterclass DE SIMONE 2019)
Incomplete or delayed forms will not be processed.
The selection results will be notified by email within and not later than June 20, 2019.
Art. 2 – Participation fee (active participants):
COST: €400,00
The selected active participant must send an email to associazioneartisticakairos@gmail.com within and not later than June 24, 2019 with proof of payment of the participation fee made out to the following bank account:

Associazione Kairòs will not cover any bank fees resulting from the international transfer of funds.
Citizens of Non-EU countries must present their visa and/or residency permit documents.
Food & Lodging must be paid by the participant. If required, the organization could suggest several partner accommodations.
Art.3 – Participation fee (auditor participants):
COST: € 150,00
The auditor participants must send an email to associazioneartisticakairos@gmail.com including and attaching the following documents within and not later than June 24, 2019:
1. CV and artistic photo in hd

Art. 4 – Other:
Active participants must send an email to associazioneartisticakairos@gmail.com pdf files or link of arias musical scores that they intend to sing in the original tonality and language.
The closing concert will be held on the afternoon of June 30. All of the participants are requested to wear appropriate concert attire. During the event, the certificates of attendance (both for active participants and auditors) will be issued.
Art.5 – Abandonment:
In case of abandonment for serious reasons (prior assessment by Associazione Kairòs of the seriousness of the reasons communicated), the participation fee, both for trainees and listeners, will be refuned only in the event the vacancy will be filled by a new student, before June 25, 2019. After this date, or for any other reasons, no amount will be refunded.
Art.6 – Cancellation and responsibility policy:
Because of a force majeure event, the organization could cancel the masterclass and totally refund the already paid participation fees. The organization could also change the course location. The new location will be inside the center of Verona and it will be immediately communicated by email to each participant.
The organization shall not be liable for damages to people or things throughout the entire period of the masterclass (June 27 – 30, 2019).
Art.7 – Privacy policy:
ASSOCIAZIONE KAIROS will process your personal data in accordance with the UE Regulation no. 679/2016 – GDPR, in order to fulfil the contractual and legal obligations (administrative, tax, accounting, etc.) related to the activation of the relationship. Art.8 – Disclaimer on audio, video and photos:
The association will use photos, videos, audio recordings or others during the masterclass for the promotional purposes of its programs and activities on flyers, posters, books, CDs, websites, social networks, radio, TV, etc. and they shall be granted on a royalty-free basis.
The participant agrees with this regulation in whole by signing up for the masterclass (RULES_Masterclass Bruno de Simone VERONA).
